Your chance to spend a week with some of the best and most inspirational dance tutors in the business
– Classical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap and Contact Impro. Now with new company level classes in Classical and Contemporary for dancers in tertiary studies, graduates and working dancers.

Classes for Teachers
Ausdance ACT is offering two new classes for teachers from schools and studios in Hip Hop with Marko Panzic and Jazz with Lucy Chambers. There are also opportunities for teachers to observe Classical and Contemporary classes (limited numbers). Take advantage of these special new classes to polish technique and work with two leaders in their field.

The Tutors
James Taylor (Classical Ballet) Born in London and trained at the Royal Ballet School, where he received a scholarship to study at the Paris Opera, James has been a member of the Royal Ballet,
the National Ballet of Portugal, the National Ballet of Canada, and the Sydney Dance Company. He has
worked on new productions with many world-renowned choreographers including Sir Frederick Ashton, Sir
Kenneth MacMillan, Rudolf Nureyev and Jiri Kilian amongst others. James has created two works with
Sydney Dance Company and two works for the West Australian Ballet.
Solon Ulbrich (Contemporary) Sol is an independent director, choreographer, teacher and arts producer. A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, Sol’s performance career features engagements with Australian Dance Theatre and Ricochet Dance Productions (UK). Sol was Rehearsal Director for Australian Dance Theatre and Tasdance. His teaching experience includes contemporary and yoga techniques for AC Arts, Australian Dance Theatre, Bangarra Dance Theatre, Circus Space (UK), Dance
North, Sydney Dance Company, Tasdance and Taipei National University of the Arts.
Marko Panzic (Hip Hop) Marko is a high-profile dancer and choreographer working with recording artists, dance studios and event entertainment, and in 2008, Marko hit our TV screens in the first series of So You Think You Can Dance Australia where he was a top 20 contestant. In 2009, Marko returned for the seccond series as a featured choreographer. Marko Panzic is a regular guest teacher at Brent Street Studios, Ev & Bow, Urban Dance Centre and Sydney Dance Company. Currently Marko Panzic
is working as a choreographer on ABC’s new TV series Dance Academy for 2010.
Lucy Chambers (Jazz) Lucy Chambers is co-choreographer and performer for Brisbane-based Raw Dance Company touring Australia and internationally. Lucy has been part of Raw Dance Company’s International Master Class Tour for the last four years which has been traveling throughout Australia and New Zealand conducting workshops in dance studios, primary schools, secondary schools and universities to over 10,000 students each year.
Andrew Fee (Tap) Andrew is the driving force behind the transition of Raw Metal and its parent company, Raw Dance Company - from an idea to today’s success story. He started dancing at the age of six and began training in Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Singing, Drama and Acrobatics and he is an inspiring Tap teacher. “…never knew Tapdancing could be so much fun” says it all.
Adelina Larsson (Contact Impro) Adelina is a Swedish freelance dance artist and contemporary
dance teacher. She trained at Danshögskolan, The University of Dance in Stockholm and at The Rotterdam Dance Academy (CODARTS) in Holland.
Esther Mooney (Pilates) Esther is a trained dancer and Pilates instructor with Post Graduate studies in Pilates Method. She has her own practice Pilates Alive and she has a special interest in rehabilitation.

Registration and Payment
Registration is essential to avoid disappointment as most classes are limited to a maximum of 25 places.
Late registration or registration on the day for a class may be possible, but cannot be guaranteed. Registration forms must be accompanied by full payment. Bookings will be accepted over the phone however these must be followed by a signed registration form no later than FRIDAY 8 JANUARY 2010.
The minimum age for any class is 12 years old. Ausdance reserves the right to refuse entry to any person in any class during the Master School.
